Just a small town girl from Ohio relocated to a sprawling, concrete Metropolis. I met the love of my life over 6 years ago, and things have never been better!
We have been living in Houston since July of 2008. We miss all of our family and friends in Ohio, but have been making a new life for ourselves here in our new home state.
Jason and I were blessed with a beautiful, energetic, active baby boy in February of 2010. He is the light of my life and the reason I wake up every morning with a smile on my face.
In September of 2011, God blessed us with a second, beautiful, healthy baby boy. He looks exactly like his big brother and has the sweetest disposition. I think we'll have to start a football team, soon!
I like: being a mother, dogs, sunshine, tan lines, the sound of my son laughing, Claussen pickles, the color yellow, beadboard, being at the beach, the smell of Autumn, going on hikes and Reef sandals.
I do not like: brussels sprouts, brass fixtures, poopy diapers, poison ivy, or burrito places that pretend they are as good as Chipotle ('cause they're just not!).
Follow along as I figure out this thing called parenting, check off my 101 in 1001, try to make my house into the shabby chic home that I desire, juggle life with children and bring out the crafty goddess hiding inside of me; all the while enjoying every moment of it!
